The Budapest Metro is the second oldest in the world only proceeded by the London subway. It currently has 5 lines that service the whole city of Budapest. Lines 2 and 3 are very deep underground, I believe they where made that deep to be used as bomb shelter in case of war. This pic was taken on line 2. You see how the deep the metro is.
