My view on my daily walks from the hotel to downtown Reykjavik

Leif Erikson

This the statue of Leif Erikson in front of hallgrimskirkja. The statue was there before the church was built. It commemorates Leif Erikson's landing in America. Leif Erikson was an Icelandic explore who found america several years before Christopher Columbus.

Hallgrimskirkja

Hallgrimskirkja is a Lutheran Church located in the heart of Reykjavik. It took almost 35 years to build.  The church is visible from any part of Reykjavik. Which makes it seems more iconic then it is.
